Operation Green Light

Drivers with a suspended license may be eligible to get back on the road through the Clerk’s annual Operation Green Light being held from Saturday, April 6, 2024, to Friday, April 12, 2024.

During this event, individuals with cases in collections will be allowed to pay their overdue court fees and traffic fines without being charged the collection surcharge.

*** Please note: The DMV Flow Bus will not be in attendance. ***

Traffic tickets must be paid in full to qualify for license reinstatement, but most criminal court fees can be placed on a payment plan.

For assistance with paying fees or setting up a payment plan, visit the downtown Fort Pierce location in person Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the St. Lucie West or downtown Fort Pierce locations in person April 8-12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by calling 772-462-6900.

Customers can pay fees and fines online, in person, or by phone at 866-253-7528.

In most traffic cases, the Clerk’s Office can reinstate the driver’s license the same day fines are paid. Other eligible drivers may schedule an appointment with any Florida Tax Collector to complete the reinstatement process.
