St Lucie Clerk of Court and Comptroller Michelle R. Miller, is pleased to offer the citizens of St. Lucie County a unique opportunity to speak with and seek legal guidance from a member of the Florida Bar. Ask an Attorney is a new service offered by the St. Lucie Clerk & Comptroller to assist residents who don’t have a lawyer or cannot afford one.
The meeting between you and Florida Rural Legal Services does not create an attorney/client relationship. The discussion and advice you receive will be provided as an opportunity to meet with an attorney in a mini-session format. Further, if you are presently represented by an attorney, you should go no further or advise your attorney of your interest in this program.
Please note, all attorneys are referred by the Florida Rural Legal Association. They may provide legal assistance but cannot represent you in court.
Meetings are held at:
Clerk's Main Office
201 South Indian River Drive, 5th Floor
Fort Pierce, FL 34950
Services include:
- 20-minute Attorney question & answer session
- Form completion assistance
*The services provided are not based on income.
(This service is not available for criminal, traffic, expungement, guardianship, probate, real property, commercial landlord/tenant, residential landlord, civil claims, or appeals)
