St. Lucie Clerk debuts new wedding ceremonial room

New St Lucie Clerk Wedding Ceremonial Room Due to construction, the Ceremony Room in downtown Fort Pierce is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

FORT PIERCE, FLA. (Jan. 21, 2021) – Couples wishing to tie the knot can now recite their wedding vows at the Clerk’s newly decorated ceremonial room. The new area has panoramic views of the Indian River Lagoon and historic downtown Fort Pierce.

The room features a 9-foot wooden arch draped top to bottom with floral arrangements. Oversized white lanterns and greenery stand beside the arch.
“We’re very grateful for the generosity of Guettler Brothers Equipment, which donated the arch,” said Michelle R. Miller, St. Lucie County Clerk & Comptroller. “Partnering with local businesses helps improve the quality of services we can provide to the public.”

Couples who would like to get married in the new ceremonial room can schedule their appointment at stlucieclerk.com/marriage. There is a $30 fee for the ceremony.
Wedding ceremonies have also resumed at the Clerk’s St. Lucie West office. Appointments can be made to get married at the gazebo on courthouse property.
