Electronic notices of commencement speed up building in St. Lucie
FORT PIERCE, FLA (March 23, 2021) With St. Lucie County's Building and Code Division and the City of Port St. Lucie's Building Department to send them electronic notices of commencement.
The notices, which are required to begin large projects over $2,500, are e-certified and emailed directly to the city. Customers need to write the permit number on the notice of commencement to ensure the city and county process it correctly. Previously, the notices recorded with our office were printed and mailed or hand delivered to the city and county.
