New Property Fraud Alert System Features
The Property Fraud Alert system was recently updated to better serve St. Lucie County residents. In addition to more robust security features, customers can now monitor up to five names, with two email addresses and two phone numbers to receive notifications. Customers registered prior to August 12, 2022, can access their new password-protected account under the email they initially registered by visiting Property Fraud Alert and clicking Forgot Your Password at Sign In.
Property Fraud Alert is a free service offered by the Clerk's office to help protect St. Lucie County property owners from scammers who record fraudulent deeds, mortgages, and other documents to make it appear as if they own your home. The system searches all newly-recorded documents for name matches and sends registered users an email and text notification within 24 hours.
